Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 11/18/25

Monday saw a gale warning up for the ocean and bay and to the best of my knowledge, no boats left Lewes or Indian River Inlet.

On Thursday evening I attended a meeting of the Advisory Council on Recreational Fishing Funding. The Council was established to oversee the spending of your fishing license money. I have been a member since the council began.

On Thursday we heard from Fish and Wildlife that the Ingrams Pond boat ramp and parking lot is complete. A photo shows the area and it looks just fine with a floating dock and plenty of parking for tow vehicles and trailers.

The largest project currently underway is the Dobbinsville Fishing Pier. Permits have been sent and construction will begin in 2026. Cost is $2.2 million.
