Designated Warming Centers in Talbot County

Due to dangerously cold weather in the area, warming centers are in operation throughout Talbot county to provide residents with a safe place to get warm during regular business hours. Residents who are vulnerable to extreme cold and who do not have adequate shelter are encouraged to utilize warming centers during the hours listed below at the following locations:

Talbot County Warming Centers

• Talbot County Free Library – Easton Branch, 100 W. Dover Street, Easton, MD 21601 (Monday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday  9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• Brookletts Place Senior Center, 400 Brookletts Avenue, Easton, MD 21601 (Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
• Grace Street, 8262 Ocean Gateway Easton, MD 21601 (Everyday: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.)
• Oxford Community Center, 200 Oxford Road, Oxford, MD 21654 (Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• St. Michaels Community Center, 103 Railroad Avenue, St. Michaels, MD 21663 (Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• Perkins Family YMCA, 300 Seymour Avenue, St. Michaels, MD 21663 (Monday–Thursday: 5:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday: 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
