UPDATED: Blades Voters Return 2 Incumbents and Bobbi Jo Tice to the Town Council


UPDATED: 6/1/20 7pm – There will be one new face on the Blades Town Council. Bobbi Jo Tice was the top vote-getter with 66 in Monday’s election. Voters returned Donald Trice and Ashley Hudson to the council with 57 and 49 votes respectively. Challenger David Ruff received 39 votes. The three new and returning council members will be sworn in at the next Town Council meeting on June 8th in the banquet room at the Blades Fire Hall.


Voters in Blades will go to the polls Monday to elect three to the town council. Incumbents Ashley Hudson and Donald Trice are challenged by David Ruff and Bobbi Jo Tice. Incumbent Michael Smith is not running for re-election. The polls will be open from 2 to 6pm. All absentee ballots must be received by the Election Board by 6pm on Monday.
