Update: Frankford Shooting Victim Dies In Hospital

Delaware State Police continue to investigate a deadly shooting in Frankford.
Troopers and other first responders went to Honolulu Road in the area of Kauffman Lane late Tuesday afternoon.
A 33-year-old man was found sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, with a gunshot wound.
Police believe the victim was shot and tried to drive away from the scene, but lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the front of a home.
The 33-year-old shooting victim, a Lincoln resident, died at a local hospital.
Identity is pending notification of next of kin.
Frankford Police requested that the State Police Homicide Unit investigate the homicide.

Police, fire and EMS crews are on the scene where an auto crashed into a house with the driver reported shot on Honolulu Road at Kauffman Lane in Frankford. The male driver has been taken to the hospital in critical condition. The incident was reported around 3:40 p.m.
