Cambridge Vehicle Fire Damages Race Street Business

Six people have been displaced after a vehicle fire that extended into a commercial building in Cambridge. Rescue Firefighters were called to Race Street around 6:30 on Friday evening where they found a vehicle parked under the overhang of the building.

State Fire Marshal investigators say a fire was accidental and occurred in the vehicle’s engine compartment and spread into the building.

Damage is estimated at $65,000.
