Camden Man Charged with Robbery at Wild Quail

A Camden man has been arrested for robbery at the Wild Quail Golf and Country Club in Wyoming. Delaware State Police learned that on Friday, July 21st around 11am an unknown man pointed a firearm at an 18 year old employee and demanded cash. The suspect blocked the victim’s attempts to escape and pushed her against a fridge – then took her property after was unable to find cash. The investigation led detectives to identify the suspect as 40 year old Jason Knight of Camden. He was arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday and taken to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following crimes:

  • Robbery First Degree (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Kidnapping Second Degree (Felony)
  • Offensive Touching

Knight was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $55,500 cash bond.
