UPDATED: Greenwood Voters Elect 3 to the Town Council


UPDATED – 01/17/26 – Randy Willey, Daniel Nelson and Donald Donovan have been elected to serve on the Greenwood Town Council. Willey was the top vote-getter with 87. Incumbent Daniel Nelson won 85 votes.  And Donald Donovan and Mike Moran – also incumbents – each won 80 votes.  After the votes were counted, Mike Moran conceded the tie to Donovan. Pam Tijerino received 76 votes.

UPDATED – 01/16/26 – Greenwood voters will go to the polls Saturday to elect three people to the Town Council – each term is for 2 years. Pamela Tijerino and Randy Willey challenging incumbents Donald Donovan, Mike Moran and Daniel Nelson. The polls are open from 1 to 7pm at Town Hall.

ORIGINAL STORY – 11/17/25 -The Town of Greenwood is soliciting candidates for the 2026 municipal election on Saturday, January 17. There are three seats up for election on the council – each is for a 2-year term. Anyone interested has until 5pm on Friday, December 12 to file as a candidate with the Town Manager.

If you are not registered to vote in Delaware – the last date that you can register to be able to vote in the Greenwood municipal election is Friday, December 19th.
