Car Crashes Into Tractor Trailer in Bethany Beach

A driver escaped injury Thursday evening when a car ended up wedged under a tractor trailer.
The incident occurred on Garfield Parkway, according to the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
The driver’s side rear door was removed so the occupant could get out. The driver declined any medical treatment.
The Sussex / Kent Rescue Team and Rescue 84 also responded.
The incident is still under investigation.
