City of Rehoboth Beach to Recognize Pride Month on June 1

On June first, the City of Rehoboth Beach will recognize Pride Month with a proclamation and a flag-raising ceremony outside of City Hall. City officials say the LGBTQ+ Pride flag will fly at City Hall throughout the month of June.

The ceremony will begin at noon on Sunday, June 1st. Mayor Stan Mills says that Rehoboth Beach has a vibrant LGBTQ+ community which greatly contributes to the social and economic vitality – and character of the city.

Mayor Mills says, “The City of Rehoboth Beach strives to foster diversity among its residents and visitors and to be a welcoming community to all.”
