Dover PD Make Arrest in July Shooting Incident

An arrest has been made by Dover Police in connection with a shooting investigation on South Bradford Street on July 30th . Police at the scene found a large crowd and a vehicle with gunshot damage. No witnesses came forward during this investigation and no injuries were reported.

The investigation led police to 29 year old Daquan Watson of Dover as the suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest. Watson was arrested at a residence on Commerce Way in Dover by the US Marshal’s First State Fugitive Task Force on September 5th.

Watson is charged with the following offenses:

  • Reckless Endangering First Degree
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
  • Criminal Mischief

Watson was released after posting a $26,000 secured bond.
