Greenwood Man Arrested for Stealing Light Poles

Delaware State Police have arrested a 55-year-old Greenwood man for stealing two 40-foot light poles from a 73-year-old homeowner’s property on Rockin Way in Ellendale last week. Richard Boyd was arrested on Monday afternoon and charged with two felonies—Theft Greater than $1500 and Victim is Older than 62 Years of Age and Conspiracy 2nd Degree. Boyd was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
