UPDATED: Incumbents Win in Greenwood Town Council Election

UPDATED 1/20/20 10:30am – Town officials tell WGMD that the three incumbents have been re-elected, however no actual election results have been provided. According to the Town Clerk, Norman Reed, William Russell and Donald Torbert will each serve another 2 years on the council. The winners will be sworn in at the February 4th Town Council meeting.

Greenwood voters will go to the polls on Saturday to elect three to the town council.  Voters will choose from incumbents Norman Reed, William Russell and Donald Torbert and challenger Kevin Smith.  These are 2 year terms.  The polls are open Saturday from 1 to 7pm at Greenwood Town Hall.
