The Rehoboth Commissioners will meet Monday at 11am to discuss the Grove Park Canal Access.  The canal access would include a pier and dock that could accommodate 2 30-foot pontoon boats and a kayak/canoe launch. The access would create a western gateway to Rehoboth – while better connecting the City to Lewes, Dewey Beach and other towns along the intercoastal waterway.  The cost of the project is estimated at $826,000 – but has already received over $400,000 in grants and private donations.  The special meeting that will follow the regular meeting in the Commissioner’s Room at City Hall and public comment will be taken as well.
