MDOT Paving Work Begins on Salisbury Bypass Monday
Resurfacing work will begin on southbound Route 13 – the Salisbury Bypass – in Wicomico County on Monday. Crews will work from 7am to 4pm between Route 12 to just north of Stockyard Road. Drivers should expect single-lane closures and flagging operations.
Contractor Allan Myers of Fallston, MD will use arrow boards, cones, and flaggers to safely guide motorists through the work zone.
The State Highway Administration appreciates customers’ patience during construction as we work to improve Maryland’s transportation system. Drivers are asked to stay alert, stay focused and be aware of reduced speed limits and changing driving patterns in the work zone. Slow Down and move over in work zones. It’s the law.
Work is expected to be completed by late fall – weather permitting.
