Milton Police Make Felony Armed Robbery Arrest

Milton Police were called to the Park Royal Apartments around noon on Saturday for a report of an armed robbery. Police learned that a 17 year old male had a handgun and demanded $500 from another juvenile male. After receiving the money the suspect ran off on foot. With help from Delaware State Police and the Dewey Beach K-9 unit, the suspect was located at a nearby residence and arrested.

The teen is charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery in the First Degree聽 聽
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony聽 聽
  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon聽聽
  • Aggravated Menacing聽 聽
  • Possession of a Firearm by Persons under 21聽 聽
  • Possession of Ammunition for a Firearm by Persons under 21聽 聽
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine

The teen was arraigned by JP Court 3 and committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center on a $48,501 cash bond.
