UPDATE: Ocean View Voters Elect Mayor and Councilman
UPDATE – 04/12/26 –聽Ocean View voters have sent Councilman John Planchart back to the Town Council representing District 1. Planchart received 177 votes to 68 for Richard Dimock. Former councilman Tom Maly will take over the mayor’s office. Maly received 187 votes to Randy Robust’s 72 votes.
Jay Tyminski was unopposed for the District 3 council seat and will also return to the Council. They will each serve 3-year terms.

ORIGINAL STORY – 04/10/26 – Voters in Ocean View will head to the polls Saturday to elect a mayor and District 1 Councilman. Thomas Maly and Randy Robust are running for the Mayor’s office. Incumbent John Planchart is challenged by Richard Dimock for the District 1 seat. Jay Tyminski ran unopposed for the District 3 seat and will return to the Town Council.
The polls are open from 8am to 5pm Saturday at the Town Community Center on West Avenue. Identification will be required on Election Day to vote.
