Residential Fire East of Dagsboro Under Investigation by State Fire Marshal’s Office

Firefighters from Millville were called for a residential structure fire Thursday night just before 11pm on Judith Lane. Crews responding to the scene found the home fully involved in fire. Firefighters from multiple fire companies throughout Sussex County were called to assist or provide backup.

Fire officials say the residents were at home when the fire broke out and were able to get out of the home safely.  There were no reports of injuries.

Firefighters were on the scene for over 90 minutes. The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
