Several Injured in Crash on Route 113 in Dagsboro

A 4-vehicle crash near Dagsboro is under investigation by Delaware State Police.  Police say a Hyundai was southbound on Route 113 near Clayton Road when an unknown vehicle began to enter its lane.  The Hyundai left the roadway, crossed the center median and struck a Volkswagen Golf and then a Honda Civic which were both in the northbound lanes.  The driver of the Hyundai and a passenger, from Pennsylvania, were both properly restrained and treated for minor injuries.  The 25 year old driver of the Golf, from Virginia, was properly restrained and taken to Beebe Medical Center with serious injuries.  The driver of the Honda was not injured.   The roadway was closed for several hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.
