Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/18/26

The weather cooled off a bit on Friday and fishing was just a little better. The smoke continued to make for a haze everywhere in the Cape Region.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us it was good old spot and croaker on bloodworms and Fishbites from Broadkill Beach.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that pretty much all stations had fish from flounder out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal on minnows, to sheepshead and tog from the Outer Wall and the Ice breakers on sand fleas and green crabs, to flounder and sea bass from the Old Grounds, to tilefish from the canyons.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us their head boats had good numbers of sea bass and flounder. Other boats had bluefin tuna while those that worked Fenwick Shoal caught blues, Spanish mackerel and triggerfish.
