Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/26/25

Friday was a tad windy and the boats that fished the ocean reported rough conditions and slow action.

If you have an interest in learning how to catch fish with a fly rod, DNREC and the White Clay Fly Fishers have joined forces and will offer licensed Delaware anglers, 18 and older, instructions on how to fly fish.

The course will be for 20 participants and will consist of two three-hour sessions scheduled for Saturday, September 20 and 27. The class will at the Aquatic Resources Education Center in Smyrna, Del. To register send an email to pearlie.franklin@delaware.gov. Put fly fishing course in the subject field and list the people who you want to register in the body of the email.
