After the thunderstorms on Saturday evening, Sunday was clear and cool with not quite as much wind, but for the most part, fishing remained slow.

Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa said rockfish to 30 inches have been caught from Augustine Beach on cut bunker. White perch have been caught on bloodworms and catfish will take cut bunker along the shoreline from Augustine Beach down to the fishing pier at Woodland Beach.

At Dan’s Tackle in Milton, we learned that rockfish to 40 inches were caught at Broadkill Beach on sand fleas, clams and blue crabs. Make sure any blue crabs you have are legal size.

Dan Neumann surf fished two days with several friends at several locations catching skates, dog sharks and two black drum. Buddy Forde had both of them, 30 and 34 inches, on a sand flea and a green crab. One at Gordon’s Pond and the other at Key Box Road.
