DSP Arrest 2 on Weapons and Drug Offenses near Millsboro


Two people have been arrested after a search warrant was executed at a Millsboro area residence on Tuesday. Members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and Sussex County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Trinity Road following an investigation into the distribution of narcotics from the residence. Delaware State Police detectives spotted a Subaru driven by 29 year old Jessica Beebe of Maryland leave the residence and performed a traffic stop for failure to use a turn signal. Beebe was detained after a drug K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics and a search turned up over 3 grams of methamphetamine.聽 Police say 38 year old Clyde Garrison of Millsboro was not at the residence during the search warrant, but turned himself in at Troop 4.

A search of the residence, and a greenhouse on the property, led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Approximately 268.90 grams of methamphetamine
  • 10 marijuana plants
  • .22 caliber handgun
  • Assorted caliber ammunition
  • Digital scales
  • Drug paraphernalia

Jessica Beebe was arrested and taken to Troop 7, where she was charged with the crimes listed below:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Tier 3 (Felony)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tier 3 (Felony)
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited Who Also Possesses Controlled Substance (Felony)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Failure to Signal

Beebe was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released after posting a $18,501 secured bond.

Garrison was charged with the crimes listed below:
