MDOT Begins Westbound Route 50 Resurfacing in Trappe in Talbot County

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has begun resurfacing 2.5 miles of westbound US 50 (Ocean Gateway) between Barber Road and Sanderstown Road in Trappe, Talbot County. Work includes milling, paving, striping and installation of new reflective pavement markings and edge line rumble strips.

Drivers will see single-lane closures during work hours, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Completion is expected by mid-November.
