Sussex County Council Meets Tuesday Morning in Georgetown
After a week off, the Sussex County Council meets Tuesday morning in Georgetown. The Council will have a presentation from officials from Ocean View. Then at 10:15 there’s a public hearing on the Newdale Acres Extension Annexation to the County Unified Sanitary Sewer District in the Ellendale area. The Council will also hear about a lease agreement for property behind the County EMS Station in Rehoboth Beach for a communication hut for future broadband service expansion for poorly served areas. Planning & Zoning Director Jamie Whitehouse will discuss two proposed ordinances – one related to setbacks and building heights on through lots and the other related to amenities within residential developments. The afternoon session includes two conditional use applications and an ordinance amendment for public hearing.
The Sussex County Council meets Tuesday at 10am in the County Administration Building on The Circle in Georgetown.
