Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/07/25
Friday saw rain at different times at different places. It didn鈥檛 help the fishing as Lewes Harbour Marina reported not much on the cleaning table.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said there were stripers caught at night on drifted sand fleas, but none exceeded the 28-inch minimum. Blues ran through the Inlet during incoming water and were caught on metal spoons.
Captain Brin ran the Fisherman鈥檚 Wharf head boat out on Wednesday and caught quite a few short flounder along with good numbers of keepers in the 20-inch class.
Budd Brass caught flounder weighing 3, 4 and 5 pounds while fishing with minnows from his 16-foot jon boat in Indian River Inlet.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said they saw spot and croaker caught on bloodworms.
