Vehicle Passenger in Milton Charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest at Traffic Stop

In Milton, a 26-year-old passenger in a vehicle was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest following a traffic stop. Milton Police say an officer witnessed the vehicle fail to use a turn signal at the intersection of Union Street and Federal Street around 9 p.m. on October 30th. Police say during the stop, the individual, identified as Joanna Peterman became agitated, yelling and screaming at officers. Despite being given multiple commands and instructions to stop, she refused to comply. When officers attempted to arrest her, she continued to be disorderly and resist. Peterman was taken into custody, transported to the Milton Police Department for further processing, and charged accordingly. Peterman was released on $1,100 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
