UPDATED: Delaware State Police Identify Victim in Deadly Crash Near Millsboro


UPDATED – 05/23/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 19 year old Charles Williamson of Dagsboro as the man who died in a fatal crash on Tuesday in Millsboro.

ORIGINAL STORY – 05/21/25 – A 19-year-old from Dagsboro is dead after a two-vehicle crash that occurred late yesterday, May 20th east of Millsboro. According to Delaware State Police, Around 5:15 p.m., a Lincoln MKZ traveling west on Hollyville Road near Harmon鈥檚 Hill Road crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with an oncoming Cadillac Escalade, which had swerved to the shoulder in an attempt to avoid the crash. The 19-year-old unrestrained driver of the Lincoln, died at the hospital. Authorities are withholding his name pending family notification. The 52-year-old driver of the Cadillac and a 56-year-old passenger, both from the area, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
