Convention of States Rally in Dover Tuesday

There will be a rally with the Convention of States movement at Legislative Hall in Dover on Tuesday from noon to 4pm to build support for Senate Concurrent Resolution 114. Supporters say this measure will advance a constitutional process aimed at fiscal restraints, limits on federal power, and term limits for federal officials. It’s expected that SCR 114 will be discussed on the Senate floor with a possible vote.Ā
Twenty states have joined in calling for an Article 5 Convention of States ā to recommend amendments to our Constitution on term limits on federal officials, financial management and limiting federal overreach.
