Delaware State Police Arrest Seaford Man and Bridgeville Teen for Several Vehicle Thefts

Earlier this month, Delaware State Police troopers and detectives began investigating multiple vehicle thefts throughout western Sussex County. Following the investigation into the thefts, police have arrested 22-year-old Antwoine Savage of Seaford and a 16-year-old male, from Bridgeville for vehicle theft and related charges, and 20-year-old Lamir Faison of Bridgeville for gun and drug charges. Detectives had investigated multiple vehicle thefts in Blades, Bridgeville, Laurel, and Seaford—mostly KIA and Hyundai models. While some of the vehicles were unlocked, others were locked and stolen without the use of the keys. Police identified Antwoine Savage and a 16-year-old male as suspects, with some stolen vehicles later recovered.
On January 16th, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force officers arrested the teen and Savage at a Bridgeville residence. During the search, probationer Lamir Faison was also detained after drug paraphernalia was found. All arrests were made without incident. Both Savage and the 16-year-old face several charges. They were released on their own recognizance–the 16-year-old to a parent/guardian. Faison was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $146,600 cash bond.
