UPDATED: Delaware State Police Identify Victim in Fatal Vehicle Crash East of Millsboro
UPDATED – 02/13/26 – Delaware State Police has identified 60 year old Vincent Spinelli of Millsboro as the man who died in a single-vehicle fatal crash on Wednesday evening in Millsboro.

ORIGINAL STORY – 02/12/26 – A 60-year-old Millsboro man is dead after a single-vehicle crash that occurred last night (February 11th) in Millsboro. According to Delaware State Police, at about 11:50 p.m., an Audi A4 was traveling southbound on Legion Road, approaching a sharp left curve in the area of Buttercream Hills, a private driveway.聽 For reasons currently under investigation, the vehicle failed to negotiate the curve and exited the west edge of the roadway before striking a concrete culvert pipe.聽 The vehicle became airborne and then overturned before striking a row of trees. The driver, a 60-year-old man from Millsboro, was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.聽 He was pronounced dead at the scene.聽 His name is being withheld until his family is notified. The investigation is still ongoing by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. 聽Troopers ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Sergeant A. Mitchell at (302) 703- 3269.
