New Security Protocols Being Implemented at All Delaware DMV Locations

The Division of Motor Vehicles is implementing new security screening protocols at all Delaware DMV locations this week. Customers will now be required to pass through weapons detector systems that are staffed by private security when entering a DMV facility.
Changes to entering and exiting the facilities is also being made and law enforcement will be present at each location as well.
The Delaware City, Dover and Georgetown DMV locations will continue to offer walk-in service to customers, however the Wilmington DMV which has now reopened is for customers by appointment only. ( appointments.dmv.de.gov or call 302-744-2500 )
