Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/29/26



Sunday was cloudy and cool at the beach, but the fishing was generally good.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said spot and croaker were caught in decent numbers on bloodworms and Fishbites at Broadkill Beach on Sunday.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported the first cobia of the season was brought in on Sunday. Other fish from ocean structure included sea bass and flounder.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us spot dominated the catch from the pier with decent numbers of croaker on Sunday.

Old Inlet said stripers were caught at night from the jetties. Flounder were taken from Indian River Bay. Kings, spot and croaker were caught off the beach.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported the Captain Bob had flounder, sea bass, ling and monkfish. Private boats had yellowfin tuna.
