Altercation at Bally’s in Dover Ends in Charges


Investigation into an altercation at a craps table a Dover’s Bally’s Casino on March 14th has resulted in assault and weapons charges. Investigators with the Division of Gaming Enforcement determined that after a male patron struck a female patron in the face with currency, she drew a handgun and struck him in the face – causing an injury.

The woman was identified as Jacklyn Twitchell – a former Bally’s employee – voluntarily surrendered to Delaware State Police on Friday. She is charged with the following offenses:

  • 2nd Degree Assault 
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
  • Aggravated Menacing

The investigation is continuing – Twitchell is being held at SCI in default of a $26,000 cash bond.
