DelDOT workshop (2/21) aims to improve Lewes intersection

DelDOT wants your opinions on a proposed realignment of Old Orchard Road in Lewes just past 5 Points. DelDOT officials want to move Old Orchard intersection on Savannah Road to align it with the traffic signal a few hundred yards down the road, in hopes of improving traffic flow and safety in the surrounding area.
People will have a chance to check out the proposed alternative and can submit comments. The workshop will take place this afternoon, anyone can stop by between 4-7 PM at the Cape Henlopen High School Cafeteria.
