Dover Man Charged after Disturbance at Doverama Bowling Saturday Night

A Dover man has been arrested for aggravated menacing after he caused a disturbance at Doverama Bowling in Dover Saturday night just before midnight. Delaware State Police were called for a disorderly man who was chasing customers with a large razor blade in the parking lot. Police identified him as 44 year old Travis Driggus, but when they tried to speak with him – he ran off on foot. He was stopped in the front yard of a nearby home. Police found no razor, but say Driggus appeared intoxicated and was uncooperative.

No Doverama patrons were injured.

Driggus was taken to Troop 3 and charged with the following crimes:

  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Breach of Release
  • Criminal Trespass Second Degree

Driggus was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $28,100 secured bond.
