DSP Charge Greenwood Man with 5th DUI

A Greenwood man has been charged with his 5th offense DUI. Delaware State Police were called to Sussex Highway and Cannon Road in Bridgeville to check on a vehicle in the roadway. They found a pickup facing southbound in the northbound lanes of Sussex Highway. The driver was identified as 35 year old Joseph Williams, who refused to comply with the Trooper’s demands. A taser was deployed and Williams was arrested. The investigation showed that Williams crossed the center line on Cannon Road, struck a sign and stopped on Sussex Highway and a computer check showed he had four previous DUI convictions. He is charged with DUI and other offenses.
