UPDATED: Man who Escaped from Sussex County Courthouse Surrenders

UPDATED  10-24-8  3pm – On Tuesday, October 23 – Ronald Stow, accompanied by his attorney, surrendered to the Delaware Capitol Police at the Sussex County Courthouse.  Stow was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court #3 and released on $500 unsecured bond on the Escape 3rd charge and $3000 unsecured bond on the original Delaware State Police charges of Burglary 2nd degree, Unlawful Use of a Payment Card and Theft from a victim over 62 years of age.


Delaware State and Capitol Police are still looking for 24 year old Ronald Stow who escaped from custody at the Sussex County Courthouse in Georgetown last Tuesday.  Police say at the time of his escape, Stow was wanted for 2nd degree burglary, use of a payment card and theft from a victim over 62 years of age.  He is now wanted on 3rd degree escape charges and was last seen in a black Ford Focus with Delaware tags (376330) on South Bedford Street.  He is white, about 5’ 7” and 103 pounds with brown hair and eyes.  If you know where he is – contact Crime Stoppers – 302-TIP-3333.
