Fire Tears Through Cambridge, Md. Home

A kitchen fire grew to cause heavy damage to a home in Cambridge over the weekend.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, someone passing by discovered the fire in the 600-block of Pine Street late Saturday night. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Damage is estimated at $120,000 to the home and $15,000 to its contents.
