UPDATED: Ward 2 Voters in Milford Choose Marianina Pletcher for City Council

UPDATED – 04/25/26 – Voters in Milford’s Second Ward have chosen Marianina Pletcher as their representative on the City Council. Pletcher won 72 votes. Kimberly Wills garnered 31 votes and Desiray Anderson won 19 votes.
Pletcher will be sworn in during the Council’s organizational meeting on Monday, May 4th at 6pm.
Several candidates ran unopposed – Madula Kalesis and Katrina Wilson will return to the First and Fourth Ward seats and Todd Culotta returns to the Mayor’s office.

ORIGINAL STORY – 04/24/26 – Milford voters go to the polls Saturday to elect a Ward 2 council members. There are three candidates who filed for the seat – Desiray Anderson, Marianina Pletcher and Kimberly Wills.
No candidates filed for Ward 3 and incumbent Michael Stewart did not file for re-election. City officials will release more information when the Ward 3 seat becomes vacant on May 1st.
Three seats were uncontested. Todd Culotta returns to the Mayor’s office for another 3 years and Madula Kalesis and Katrina Wilson return to the 1st and 4th Ward seats for 2 year terms each.
Only Ward 2 voters will vote in this election – the polls are open Saturday at the City Public Works Facility from 10am to 6pm.
