Public Comment Open on Hotel Road Bridge Replacement in Bishopville
Timber-beam Bridge on Hotel Road near Bishopville
Worcester County Public Works will begin to replace the Hotel Road Bridge in Bishopville in September. Hotel Road will be closed at the bridge with detours put in place. The closure is expected to last about 120 days – or 4 months. The timber-beam bridge received unsatisfactory sufficiency ratings during the County’s annual bridge inspection program. This project is eligible for funding through the Highway Bridge Program. Public comments will be accepted through August 10th regarding the bridge replacement project.
