Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/19/26

Summer arrived on Monday and it looks to stick around for a couple of days.

Lewes Harbour Marina told me the Katydid brought back a boat limit of black sea bass from ocean structure. The boats that fished for black drum on Sunday evening off of Broadkill Beach and at the Coral Beds off of Slaughter Beach had good results.

My friend Keith Kauffman fished off of Broadkill Beach in 10 feet of water for two evenings with his sons Cody and Ross and Cody鈥檚 girlfriend Jayde. One evening they caught four black drum and the second evening they had five. All weighed around 25 to 30 pounds and were caught on clams.

Another friend, Dan Nuemann, caught blues in the 12 to 20-inch class on plastics and bucktails out of the Inlet during incoming water Monday morning.

This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of DelMarVa fishing report.
