Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/20/26
Summer stuck around on Tuesday and will still be here on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the warm weather has come with a bit of a breeze and boats have not been doing much fishing on the ocean.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us the only action they saw were a few boats drifting the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal for flounder and finding a few keepers on minnows.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported a few blues and flounder caught just before, during and after high tide. Minnows and cut mullet were the best baits when fished close to the pilings.
Dan at Dan鈥檚 Tackle in Milton had the best report with black drum caught off of Broadkill Beach and from the Coral Beds off of Slaughter Beach on clams.
