Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/25/26

Sunday the wind dropped out, but the seas on the ocean remained at 8 feet. Delaware Bay was not as bad. Monday does not look good to end a lousy holiday weekend as it began.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us several charter and private boats ran up to the Coral Beds off of Slaughter Beach or fished close to Broadkill Beach for black drum in the late afternoon. Clams were the prime bait and I will have their success or lack there of in Monday’s report. They did say they saw a few flounder caught out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with minnows the prime bait.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em the report was no boats ventured out into those 8-foot seas, but they did hear of some striped bass caught at dawn from Indian River Inlet.

This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of DelMarVa fishing report.
