Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/19/26

Thursday the wind blew a gale, but only brought out a small craft advisory. The only report I received from boats were those that fished the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal and they only caught spot and croaker.

Patty at Captain Bones said croaker were caught from the Woodland Beach Pier on bloodworms, squid, Fishbites and shrimp. At Augustine Beach the occasional striper is taken on bloodworms or cut bait and catfish are also available on cut bait.

Steve at Smith Bait said croaker have been caught at Woodland Beach, Port Mahon and Bowers Beach on bloodworms, shrimp, squid and Fishbites. White perch are in the tidal creeks and rivers and will take bloodworms or Fishbites.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said big croaker were caught from Broadkill Beach on Wednesday night. Nothing was caught on Thursday.
