Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/24/26

Tuesday, we had some unsettled weather that ended with a thunderstorm watch and rain in the afternoon.

It was raining when I called Lewes Harbour Marina and they reported the head boats had croaker out of Delaware Bay.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us they were pleasantly surprised by the good spot and croaker fishing from the pier on Tuesday. Bloodworms and Fishbites produced croaker well above the 9-inch minimum size and nice-sized spot.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said blues were caught from the Inlet on incoming water on bucktails, plugs and metal lures. Spot and kings came from the surf on bloodworms and Fishbites along with the ever-present skates and dogs.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Judy had a few sea bass and flounder.
