Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/06/26

Sunday it was only 94 at my house.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said the huge crowd at Broadkill Beach caught spot, kings and croaker on Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Katydid had a boat limit of flounder and sea bass. Chasin’ Tail and the Angler brought in spot and croaker from Delaware Bay.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park saw spot and croaker caught from the pier.

Old Inlet reported sheepshead, flounder and triggerfish caught from the inlet. Sand fleas or green crabs for the sheepshead, jigs with minnows for the flounder. The surf provided kings along with plenty of skates.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Captain Bob had a big catch of flounder. A private boat had yellowfin tuna to 91 pounds.
