Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/09/26

Wednesday, we had a bit too much wind and rough seas for boats to venture out.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said Broadkill Beach saw quite a variety of fish on Wednesday. Spot, croaker, blowfish and small kings made for a mixed bag. Bloodworms, shrimp, squid, Gulp! and Fishbites all produced good results.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported spot, croaker and sheepshead caught during high tide. Bloodworms and Fishbites for the spot and croaker with sand fleas or green crabs for the sheepshead.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us triggerfish, croaker and blues were taken from the Inlet. The triggers like sand fleas, the croaker like Fishbites and the blues like metal lures.
