Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/11/26

Friday was a decent weather day with decent fishing from the surf to the Old Grounds.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle reported spot and croaker caught from Broadkill Beach on bloodworms or Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Angler head boat returned from bay structure with spot, croaker and flounder. Fishbites for the spot and croaker with minnows or jigs decorated with strips of squid or Gulp! for the flounder. Private boats fished the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas or green crabs to catch sheepshead and triggerfish. Other boats fished the Old Grounds and caught flounder.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us spot and croaker with one keeper flounder made up Friday’s catch.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported their head boats caught sea bass and flounder.
