Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/12/26

For once we had good weather on a weekend day and that resulted in some good fishing.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us spot and croaker were caught from shore at Broadkill Beach on bloodworms and Fishbites. The Broadkill River saw croaker caught on Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the head boats Angler and Pirate King had good numbers of croaker from Delaware Bay. Private boats worked the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crabs to catch sheepshead and triggerfish. Boats drifting the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with minnows caught a few keeper flounder.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park saw several keeper flounder caught on minnows fished close to the pilings.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported that boats that fished the canyons caught yellowfin tuna.
