Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/19/26

We got back in the heat dome on Saturday with a high at my house of 98 degrees. We also had small craft advisories up on the ocean and a tornado watch in the afternoon.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us Broadkill Beach produced spot and croaker on sand fleas and Fishbites. The Broadkill River saw bigger croaker on the same baits.

Lewes Harbour Marina said private boats had triggerfish and sheepshead by fishing the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crabs. Delaware Bay produced spot and croaker for head and private boats. The Lewes and Rehoboth Canal saw spot, croaker and a few flounder. The flounder were taken on minnows.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported spot were the primary catch on Saturday.
